Agilent GCxGC analyzers provide comprehensive multidimensional GC separations using an 8890 GC system with flame ionization detectors (FIDs), a cryogen-free Capillary Flow Technology reversed flow modulator, and GC Image GCxGC software.This configuration produces group-type analysis of n-paraffins, i-paraffins, naphthenes, and 1-ring and 2-ring aromatic hydrocarbons in conventional and synthetic aviation turbine fuels, in accordance with ASTM D8396 and NB/SH/T 6078.
