BCL6 IQFISH Break-Apart Probe is intended for the detection of rearrangements involving the BCL6 gene by fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH). The probe is to be used on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections.Break apart probes consist of two child probes (3’ and 5’ probes), designed to hybridize on opposite sides of the translocation break point for a given gene, each labeled in a different color (Cy3 and FITC). These probes generate signals in normal cells that are closely matched in size and co-localized (2 fusion signals). Following a translocation, the signals are broken apart and no longer co-localize (for example: 1 orange-red, 1 green, 1 fusion). BCL6 IQFISH Break-Apart Probe and corresponding protocol were developed using formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded, lymph node tissue sections.Child Probe 5′ GR, Chr3Start 187735129, Stop 188216099Child Probe 3′ RD, Chr3Start 187067109, Stop 187438594
