IGH/BCL2 IQFISH Dual Fusion Probe is intended for the detection of rearrangements involving the IGH and BCL2 genes by fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH). The probe is to be used on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections.Dual fusion probes consist of two child probes (3’ and 5’ probes), each designed to target a given gene and each labeled in a different color (Cy3 and FITC). These probes generate signals in normal cells that are closely matched in size and are separated by more than one signal distance (for example: 2 orange-red signals, 2 green signals). Following a translocation, the signals are co-localized, producing fusion signals (for example: 1 orange-red, 1 green, and 2 fusion signals). IGH/BCL2 IQFISH Dual Fusion Probe and corresponding protocol were developed using formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded, lymph node tissue sections.Child Probe 5′ GR, Chr14Start 105767975, Stop 107288785Child Probe 3′ RD, Chr18Start 60309881, Stop 61304141
