nanoEase M/Z Peptide CSH C18 Column, 130Å, 1.7 µm, 300 µm X 50 mm columns are designed for optimal performance for nano- to micro scale liquid chromatographic separation, offering the highest possible sensitivity, resolution and reproducibility for biomarker discovery and protein identification and characterization. The 300 µm ID columns are built utilizing a ultra low dispersion column design and offer the same simplicity of use as more traditional columns. Like all M/Z columns they withstand 15kpsi operating pressure and handle pressure fluctuations during injection extremely well and thus provide superior longevity. In order to achieve maximum performance, it is important to ensure that proper connections are made to minimize peak tailing and poor efficiency. This specific offering contains Waters patented CSH Technology 130Å pore, C18, 1.7 µm particles. The first choice for peptide separations, CSH particles contain a low and carefully-defined concentration of positive charges that yield comparatively excellent peak shape for peptides using either FA- or TFA-containing mobile phases. They exhibit little dependence on strong ion pairing agents, making them ideal for LC or LC-MS applications. Each batch is specifically QC tested using a gradient separation of a tryptic digest of cytochrome c (p/n: 186006371) to before being QC accepted as a Peptide separation column.
