Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substance Standards (PFAS) Standards

Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are synthetically made organofluorine chemical compounds. Commonly known as ‘forever chemicals’, many PFAS compounds do not breakdown in the environment and there is evidence that PFAS exposure can lead to adverse human health. Increasingly, many regulatory agencies like EPA are recommending PFAS testing in water. Agilent has developed a portfolio of PFAS standards that are based on EPA guidelines, such as EPA 537.1, EPA 533, and EPA 8327 methods. These PFAS analytical standards include primary, surrogate, and internal dilution standards that can be combined with Agilent workflows to address the unique challenges in PFAS testing.
